Organic Agave Inulin Powder acts as a prebiotic fiber, meaning it naturally supports the growth of the live bacteria (probiotics) that transform milk into yogurt. This helps your yogurt ferment evenly, set beautifully, and develop a silky texture with a mild flavor. It’s a small addition that makes a noticeable difference in both consistency and taste.
The Benefits of Using Agave Inulin Powder
Naturally supports the growth of live cultures, helping your yogurt ferment evenly and develop a creamy texture.
Adds pure fiber from agave with a light sweetness and smooth consistency.
Works with traditional yogurt starter or freeze-dried cultures.
Easy, reliable recipe for dairy or plant-based yogurt.
Ingredients
2 tbsp plain yogurt with live cultures or 1 packet freeze-dried yogurt starter
Directions
In a saucepan, heat milk over medium heat until it reaches about 180°F (82°C). Do not boil.
Remove from heat and let it cool to about 110°F (43°C).
In a small bowl, mix ½ cup of the warm milk with the yogurt starter (or freeze-dried culture) and Organic Agave Inulin Powder until smooth and dissolved.
Let’s combine! Pour the mixture back into the rest of the warm milk and stir gently.
Incubate – Pour into jars or a yogurt maker and keep warm (around 105–110°F) for 8–10 hours. You can use an oven with the light on or an Instant Pot on the yogurt setting.
Once thickened, refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Enjoy plain or top with fruits, granola, or honey.
