I bought this because I was trying to make the old Kraft mac&cheese from the 70’s before they changed their pasta and decreased the cheese in the packet. It didn’t work for that at all. This cheese dissolves well in milk but doesn’t stick to the macaroni at all so I had white macaronis in orange sauce. That might have been my fault as I don’t know if Kraft macaroni is different in some way so the cheese sticks to it. I didn’t like the flavor either though. The only way I can describe it is to compare it to Parmesan even though I know it’s cheddar. There is some Parmesan cheese that has a nutty taste and some that has a bitter taste, and this stuff had that bitter taste to it, and it didn’t have that intense cheese powder taste like on Cheetos that I was looking for. I know a lot of people like this cheese, so I probably just have different taste, but if you are trying to recreate Kraft, this doesn’t do it.

Flavor is worlds better than regular version.The sodium values on the nutrition label is are doubtful. Tastes too salty.It would be better if they reduced the salt by 50%.3 Tbsp is required for seasoning popcorn and that is way too much salt for a serving of popcorn.Not exactly healthier like their brand name.Don’t get the regular version(zero flavor). This one is better.The powder is clumpy but sticks to popcorn better.Quality is good.

I've been looking for a cheese powder without starch or fillers for years. This is perfect. It's keto friendly and delicious!

I love it on popcorn. Does not make it soggy. Works much better than parmasan cheese.

Delicious. When I was a child my mom used to take a canned pear half and add mayo to the center and then sprinkle a little powdered cheddar (or American) cheese on it. I know that sounds weird but it’s really good.

The healthier comforts organic cheese powder is okay, but just okay. I like that it's lower in sodium than some other brands, but it doesn't have much of a cheesy flavor. It mixes with food (not clumpy) and makes a decent sauce like you'd get with the blue box mac & cheese, but it lacks taste.UPDATE:5-2026It doesn't last well, either. Would not buy again

Taste just like easy mac. I add this to organic ramen mix that I got from Amazon as well. It's like having an organic buldak ramen. It's perfect. Thanks!

Good cheese

Great taste! I believe this was the brand recommended by lildipper (gut health teacher) as a "cleaner" cheese powder for occassional cheats.With most cheeses being made with Pfizer gmo rennet these days, getting a cleaner cheese or a cheese powder is great both would be amazing.I still need to try making my own DIY cheese powder out of an organic cheese made with vegetable rennet, but this brand in the mean time for occassional treats has a great taste!

Every brand has garbage in it. The ingredients of this brand are simple and it tastes the best. I won’t order any other brand because of it. A little goes a long way- just mix with cashew cream or dairy and butter for smooth delicious cheese sauce. I don’t even measure!

Useful item to have in the pantry. I use it for a lot of dry mixes I keep handy. Good quality too.

The reason I purchased this brand of powdered cheese from the many options on Amazon is because it was a Healthier Organic Cheddar Cheese Powder. A way better option than the stuff we get in box mac and cheese. I also wanted something we could take camping and not worry about using limited cold storage space.However my real motivation was I wanted an easy way to make broccoli cheese soup when I was in the mood and wanted to always have on hand the stuff to make it. This allows an easy recipe of broth, broccoli and Healthier Cheddar, plus a few other ingredients. All ingredients can stay on the shelf without worry until I want it, except for the broccoli of course but frozen will do in a pinch. It does not take much time to have a good tasting soup. Also better and I can get way more for less money than buying the ready to eat soup every grocery store seems to have these days. It has a cheesier flavor than most of these and ends up costing less per serving even if the price of the bag of powder cheese makes you want to go yikes. It is also great that I don't have to grate.I also like the packaging better than similar products in plastic jars.Next time, I will buy the larger quantity.

Love this stuff! Adds rich cheese flavor and texture to Mac n Cheese!

Added this to boxed macaroni and cheese along with additional butter and milk to make the macaroni a little cheesier. It worked! Also added to popcorn. I think it will work best if there is butter on the popcorn. I didn't have butter on the popcorn and it didn't stick as well as I would have liked. I especially like that it is organic!

This tastes good! I have sprinkled it in when making egg bites and made a tasty sauce using cottage cheese. I’ll be buying more
