      1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

      2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, Healthier Comforts Organic Buttermilk Powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

      3. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

      4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using). Gradually add the milk, mixing until fully combined.

      5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the cookies tender.

      6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll them into balls, and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Slightly flatten the tops with your hand or the bottom of a glass.

      7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are just barely golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

      1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered monk fruit sweetener, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Divide the glaze into smaller bowls and add food coloring as desired.

      2. Once the cookies have cooled, drizzle or spread the glaze over each cookie. Add sprinkles while the glaze is still wet.
