The magic lies in our Animal-Free Egg White Protein Powder, which provides the essential structure and lift that egg whites traditionally would. It acts as the perfect binder, creating a light, tender crumb and ensuring your pancakes are wonderfully fluffy and hold together beautifully. It’s the key to unlocking an authentic pancake experience, entirely without animal products.
Ingredients
2 tbsp Flour
2 tbsp Animal-Free Egg White Protein Powder
⅓ cup Plant-Based Milk of your choice
½ tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Baking Powder
⅛ tsp Salt
1 tsp Oil, plus more for the pan
Optional: Cinnamon to taste
Directions
Whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, animal-free egg white powder, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon). Pour in the milk and oil, and whisk until just combined.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a little oil or vegan butter to the pan.
Pour the batter onto the hot pan to form 1 pancakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until you see bubbles forming on the surface and the edges look set.
Flip the pancake and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer to a plate and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
